Eunice, das neue Hausmädchen der Wohlhabenden Coverdales, ist eine wahre Perle: Sauber, zuvorkommend und ihre Kochkünste sind phänomenal. Es kommt den Coverdales gar nicht in den Sinn, sie nach ihren Zeugnissen zu fragen, denn sie können es sich nicht vorstellen, dass sie eine dunkle Vergangenheit haben könnte. Doch Melinda, die 17jährige Tochter der Coverdales, deckt ihre dunkle Vergangenheit auf, und dann zeigt Eunice ihr wahres Gesicht...
