Viral (2016)
Emma und ihre Schwester Stacey sind zwei gewöhnliche Teenager, deren Leben sich von einen Tag auf den anderen drastisch verändert. Denn in ihrer Heimatstadt verbreitet sich eine mysteriöse Infektion, die es nötig macht, die Einwohner unter Quarantäne zu stellen. Während ihre Eltern auf der anderen Seite festsitzen, genießen die Mädchen zunächst die Freiheit zu Hause. Plötzlich können sie auf Partys gehen und so viel Fast Food essen, wie ihnen lieb ist. Doch als das Virus sogar Opfer unter den Leuten fordert, die ihnen nahestehen, verschanzen sich die Mädchen gemeinsam mit Emmas heimlichem Schwarm Evan in den eigenen vier Wänden. Abgeschottet von der restlichen Zivilisation, steht Emma allerdings bald vor einer besonders schweren Entscheidung...
