The Good Neighbor (2016)
Die Highschool-Schüler Ethan und Sean beschließen, ihrem alten, nichtsahnenden Nachbarn Mr. Harold Grainey einen Streich zu spielen. Sie dokumentieren ihren Streich gewissenhaft mit versteckten Kameras und wollen mit allerlei Tricks und Gerätschaften dafür sorgen, dass Mr. Grainey denkt, in seinem Haus würde es spuken: So lassen sie etwa Türen und Fenster plötzlich zufallen, machen den Fernseher aus oder schalten mittels Fernsteuerung die Stereoanlage ein. Doch der alte Mann reagiert überhaupt nicht so, wie sich die beiden das vorgestellt haben und bald kommt ihnen der Verdacht, dass Mr. Grainey ein dunkles Geheimnis zu verbergen hat, denn er verschwindet manchmal für Stunden im Keller. Könnte es etwa sein, dass er ein Wahrheit ein eiskalter Mörder ist und er buchstäblich Leichen im Keller bei sich versteckt hält?
