Out of Rosenheim (1987)
Ein Ehekrach mitten in der einsamen Weite von Amerika und schon steht Jasmin Münchgstetter alleine da. Notgedrungen quartiert sie sich in dem nahegelegenen Imbiß "Bagdad Cafe" ein, daß von der alleinstehenden Brenda geführt wird. Obwohl der mittelere Westen der USA und die bayrische Einfachheit Jasmins nicht immer zueinanderpassen, bringt sie doch neuen Schwung in die Einöde und freundet sich mit dem Maler Rudi an. Zu Brenda hat sie jedoch bald ein wechselhaft angespanntes Verhältnis...
