Stanley ist ein freundlicher kleiner Troll, der eine geheime Gabe besitzt. Er hat einen grünen Daumen, mit dem er überall wunderschöne Blumen hervorzaubern kann. Im Troll-Land sind Blumen jedoch verboten. Als die böse Königin Gnorga Stanleys Geheimnis entdeckt, verbannt sie ihn in die Steinwüste New York. Stanley landet jedoch im Central Park und freundet sich mit den Kindern Gus und Rosie an. Als Gnorga entdeckt, wieviel Spaß Stanley hat, reist sie wütend nach New York, um ihn zurückzuholen. Doch Stanley und seine Freunde sind bereit, Gnorga eine Lektion zu erteilen.
