Dominick DeLuise war ein US-amerikanischer Schauspieler, Komiker, Regisseur, Musiker, Koch und Autor. Bekannt vor allem für seine komödiantischen Rollen, erlangte er in den 1970er Jahren als häufiger Gast in Fernseh-Varietéshows Berühmtheit. Bekannt ist er vor allem für seine Auftritte in den Filmen von Mel Brooks und Gene Wilder sowie für eine Reihe von Kollaborationen und ein Doppel (Auf dem Highway ist die Hölle los) mit Burt Reynolds. Ab den 1980er Jahren erreichte er auch ein jüngeres Publikum, indem er Figuren in mehreren großen Zeichentrickproduktionen, insbesondere denen von Don Bluth, seine Stimme lieh.
