Straße ohne Namen (1948)
Der berüchtigte Gangster Alec Stiles wird bei mindenstens zwei Mordfällen als Täter verdächtigt und gerät dadurch ins Visier des FBI. Die Bundespolizei entschließt sich zu einem riskanten Undercovereinsatz des Agenten Gene Cordell. Ausgerüstet mit einer Scheinidentität versucht dieser, sich der Verbrecherorganisaton von Stiles anzuschließen. Dies gelingt und er wird in die Gruppe aufgenommen. Doch Stiles hat viele Informanten und kommt hinter die wirkliche Identität seines neuen Handlangers. Jetzt befindet sich Cordell in einer sehr heiklen Lage...
