The Killer Inside Me (2010)
In einer kleinen texanischen Kleinstadt scheint der Deputy Lou Ford Dienst nach Vorschrift zu verrichten, ein höflicher, unscheinbarer Mann, doch als er die Prostituierte Joyce kennenlernt, die den lokalen Ölmagnaten Chester Conway erpreßt, läßt er sich, obwohl er in Amy Stanton eine Freundin hat, auf eine wilde Affäre ein.Doch unter Lous Oberfläche steckt mehr, er ist, was keiner weiß, ein soziopathischer Sadist. Bei der Übergabe der Erpressungssumme jedoch platzt bei Lou der Knoten, er schlägt Joyce ohne Grund fast zu Brei und erschießt Conways Sohn, um es der vermeintlich Toten in die Schuhe zu schieben. Doch Joyce liegt im Koma und stirbt erst einige Zeit später, als Lou dem Ermittler Hendricks schon ins Auge gefallen ist. Als er schließlich mit seiner Tat erpreßt wird, muß er weitere Morde begehen, die ihn jedoch nicht aus dem Fokus der Ermittler bringen...
