Black & White - Gefährlicher Verdacht (1999)
James Tobacks Darstellung der Vermischung weißer und schwarzer Kultur auf den Straßen Manhattans wirkt, als würden zwei Filme aufeinander prallen. Im Mittelpunkt des Geschehens steht eine Gruppe weißer Oberklasse-Teenager die sich der Hip-Hop-Kultur bedienen, um gegen ihren üppigen Lebensstil zu rebellieren. Diesen gegenüber steht eine Gangsta- und Drogendealer-Posse die versucht, über ihre Musik von der Straße weg zu kommen und ins Musikgeschäft einzusteigen.
