Fahrenheit 451 (2018)
In einem totalitären Regime in naher Zukunft sind Bücher aller Art verboten und werden verbrannt. Einer der Feuerwehr-Männer, denen die Vernichtung des bedruckten Papiers zufällt, ist Guy Montag. Für seinen Job und unter der Führung von Captain Beatty rückt er jeden Tag aufs Neue in Häusern an, in denen versteckte Bücher gefunden wurden, und bringt seinen Flammenwerfer zum Einsatz. Eines Tages nimmt Montag jedoch einige der Bücher, die er eigentlich zerstören sollte, mit nach Hause und beginnt langsam, die Taten seines tyrannischen Regimes in Frage zu stellen, das seine Bevölkerung unterdrückt. Eine geheimnisvolle junge Frau stellt für Montag den Kontakt zu einer Rebellengruppe her, die sich der Bewahrung der Literatur auf eine ganz besondere Weise verschrieben hat.
