Vater ist nicht verheiratet (1963)
Tom Corbett, Programmdirektor einer New Yorker Radiostation, trägt schwer am Tod seiner Frau. Seine ganze Aufmerksamkeit gilt dem sechsjährigen Sohn Eddie. So gut er kann, versucht er ihm die Mutter zu ersetzen. Eddie fühlt mit dem Vater und sähe ihn gern mit einer netten Nachbarin verheiratet, aber zu seinem Leidwesen bemüht sich sein Vater um eine andere Frau, die Eddie gar nicht gefällt.
