Die Intriganten (1954)
Nach dem Tod des Firmenchefs Avery Bullard muß dringend ein Nachfolger benannt werden. Der wahrscheinlichste Kandidat ist der Geschäftsmann Loren Shaw, der allerdings wegen seiner berechnenden Art nicht sonderlich beliebt ist. Also suchen die Vorstandsmitglieder nach einem anderen Kandidaten, den sie gegen den Favoriten ins Rennen schicken können…
