Tödliches Verlangen (2017)
Katie zieht mit ihrer jungen Tochter in eine neue Stadt, um dort die Misshandlungen ihrer Vergangenheit hinter sich zu lassen und ein neues Leben zu beginnen. Bald freundet sie sich mit dem Ehepaar Angela und Brian Morgan an, die ebenfalls eine Tochter großziehen und den Wunsch nach einer größeren Familie verspüren. Die Freundschaft weitet sich zu einem Punkt aus, an dem die Morgans Katie einladen, zu ihnen ins Gästehaus zu ziehen und fortan als Nanny ihre Tochter zu beaufsichtigen. Doch schon bald bereut das Paar diese Entscheidung, denn die Bindung der Ersatzmutter zum Kind nimmt schon bald bedenkliche Züge an und es stellt sich die Frage, ob Katie in Wahrheit finstere Pläne im Schilde führt. Besonders zwischen den beiden Frauen entwickelt sich eine erbitterte Rivalität und die Familie droht zu zerbrechen...
