Journey's End (2017)
Die englische C-Kompanie ist, während des Ersten Weltkrieges in Nordfrankreich an der Front stationiert und erwartet einen baldigen Angriff der Deutschen. In dieser gefährlichen Situation stößt der unerfahrene Offizier Raleigh (Asa Butterfield) zur Truppe, der den Captain Stanhope (Sam Claflin) noch aus Schultagen kennt. Doch schnell muss Raleigh erkennen, dass sein Freund durch den Krieg ein anderer Mensch geworden ist. Während die Soldaten weiterhin ausharren und auf den deutschen Angriff warten, muss der junge Offizier einsehen, dass der Krieg den Männern weit mehr abverlangt als nur Kameradschaft und Mut.
