Das Auftauchen eines neuen Feindes erfordert ein Bündnis zwischen den sich immer noch bekriegenden Vögeln und Schweinen. Ohne dass die Vögel davon wissen, braut sich jedoch bereits eine ganz andere Bedrohung am Horizont zusammen: Eine geheimnisvolle lila Vogel-Frau namens Zeta hat ihre unterkühlte Heimat in den eisigen Polar-Regionen nämlich satt und wirft deshalb ein Auge auf die paradiesische Insel der Angry Birds. Klar, dass gegen ihre Eroberungs- und Unterwerfungspläne große Geschütze aufgefahren werden müssen, um ihr das Feld nicht kampflos zu überlassen.
