Plötzlich Familie (2018)
Das Ehepaar Pete und Ellie beschließt, eine Familie zu gründen, und nimmt daher drei Pflegekinder von einer Adoptionsagentur bei sich auf. Doch damit haben sich mehr eingebrockt, als sie gedacht hätten, denn die drei Kinder, die rebellische 15-Jährige Lizzy, der verplante Juan und die kleine Lita, stellen sich als echte Teufelsbraten heraus und haben zunächst keinerlei Interesse daran, sich von ihren Pflegeeltern bändigen und erziehen zu lassen. Und auch Pete und Ellie müssen feststellen, dass das Elterndasein viel komplizierter ist, als sie es sich vorgestellt hätten. Nach und nach wachsen die Fünf jedoch zu einer Patchwork-Großfamilie zusammen …
