I'm Thinking of Ending Things (2020)
Obwohl die Beziehung zu ihrem neuen Freund Jake perfekt ist, denkt eine junge Frau darüber nach, das Verhältnis zu beenden. Doch in die Tat hat sie den Gedanken noch nicht umgesetzt. Also sagt sie auch zu dem Road Trip zur Farm seiner Eltern nicht nein. Es wird ein eigentümliches Zusammentreffen. Irgendetwas stimmt nicht. Hund und Eltern verhalten sich seltsam. Prompt sorgt ein Schneesturm außerdem dafür, dass die vier auf dem abgeschiedenen Anwesen zusammen eingesperrt werden. Je länger die Isolation im Nirgendwo andauert, desto mehr stellt die Besucherin alles um sich herum in Frage. Sie bekommt heftige Zweifel, was ihren Freund, sich selbst und die Welt als Ganzes angeht. Reue und Verlangen drohen den menschlichen Geist zu brechen und immer düsterere Gedanken sind in einer solchen Situation nicht fern.
