Bulletproof Gangster (2011)
"The Irishman" basiert auf der wahren Geschichte des Gangsters Danny Greene, der in den 1970er Jahren die verbrecherische Unterwelt von Cleveland beherrscht hat. Regisseur Jonathan Hensleigh hat sich beim Schreiben der Story auf Rick Porrellos Buch "To Kill the Irishman: The War That Crippled the Mafia" gestützt.Cleveland wird zum Kriegsgebiet. Danny Greene will sich in der Unterwelt ganz nach oben kämpfen. Die Mafia hat etwas dagegen und setzt einen Preis auf den Kopf des zielsicheren Schützen mit den Nerven aus Stahl aus. Aber Danny vernichtet jeden, der sich ihm in den Weg stellt.
