Big Man - Er hat nichts zu verlieren (1990)
Der ehemalige schottische Bergarbeiter Danny Scoular ist seit der Schließung des Kohlebergwerks erfolglos auf Arbeitssuche. Am Abend vor einem Vorstellungsgespräch schaut er noch in seiner Stammkneipe vorbei. In Anwesenheit eines augenscheinlichen Geschäftsmannes wird er dort in eine Schlägerei verwickelt, die zu seinen Gunsten ausgeht. Der Unbekannte bietet ihm viel Geld, wenn er für ihn einen Boxkampf mit blanken Fäusten bestreitet. Vom Geld verführt wittert Danny eine große Chance, ohne zu wissen auf welches schmutzige und gefährliche Spiel er sich einläßt...
