Wir schreiben das Jahr 1973: Das höchste Gericht der Vereinigten Staaten muss sich bei dem Fall „Roe gegen Wale“ mit der Frage befassen, ob Schwangere das Recht haben, abzutreiben. Das Gerichtsverfahren bringt das gesamte Land in Bewegung. Dr. Bernard Nathanson (Nick Loeb), ein bekanner Abtreibungsarzt, wird dabei eine entscheidende Rolle spielen.
