Magere Zeiten - Der Film mit dem Schwein (1984)
Zwei Jahre nach Kriegsende ist die Lebensmittelversorgung in England knapp. Fleisch ist streng rationiert und selbst auf Lebensmittelkarten nicht zu bekommen. Trotzdem will ein kleines Dorf anlässlich der royalen Hochzeit von Prinzessin Elizabeth und Prinz Philip ein großes Fest veranstalten - samt saftigem Festbraten. Dafür wird heimlich ein Schwein auf einem Bauernhof gemästet und vor der Öffentlichkeit versteckt. Doch Fußpfleger Gilbert entdeckt das Tier - und will es mit seiner Frau stehlen...
