Abteil Nr. 6 (2021)
Nur wenige Menschen zieht es im Winter ins eisige Murmansk am nördlichen Polarkreis. Die schüchterne finnische Archäologiestudentin Laura aber ist fest entschlossen, die berühmten Felsenmalereien der Stadt zu besichtigen – eine unglückliche Romanze, die sie in Moskau hinter sich lässt, motiviert ihren Entschluss umso mehr. Die Aussicht auf eine beschauliche Eisenbahnreise zerschlägt sich schnell als Laura ihren Mitreisenden im Abteil Nr. 6 kennenlernt: Ljoha ist Bergarbeiter, trinkfest und laut, ein Typ, der keine Grenzen zu kennen scheint und Lauras schlichtweg ignoriert. Doch während der nächsten Tage ihrer gemeinsamen Reise müssen die ungleichen Passagiere auf engstem Raum miteinander auskommen lernen. Der Beginn einer unerwarteten Annäherung.
