Jahreszeiten einer Ehe (1980)
College-Professor Adam Evan steckt in einer Midlife-Crisis. Das Eheleben ist ihm fade geworden. Und um sich noch einmal jung zu fühlen, geht er eine Liaison mit der überaus attraktiven Studentin Lindsey ein. Seine Frau Karen findet das schnell heraus, tut es ihm aber gleich: Sie betrügt Adam mit dem jugendlichen Lebenskünstler Pete. Alles scheint perfekt, selbst der Skiurlaub in Vermont. Doch die Balance zu viert wird durch ein unvorhergesehenes Ereignis nachhaltig gestört.
