Wir werden nicht zusammen alt (1972)
Ein gescheiterter Filmemacher hat eine Liebesaffäre mit Catherine. Seine Frau Françoise ahnt nichts davon. Obwohl Jean behauptet, Catherine zu lieben, misshandelt er sie emotional und physisch. Als Catherine Jean in die Camargue begleitet, führt Jeans missbräuchliches Verhalten zu einem heftigen Streit. Catherine erträgt dies nicht mehr und flüchtet sich zu ihrer Großmutter in die Provence. Als Jean ihr hinterherreist, entscheidet sie sich, der Beziehung zu ihm endgültig ein Ende zu setzen.
