Auf der Suche nach Jimmy Hoyt (1994)
In seinem alten Viertel South Brooklyn will Filmstudent Les (Holt MacCallany) eine Doku über das rätselhafte Verschwinden seines Kumpels Jimmy (Sam Rockwell) drehen. Als er Jimmys Bruder Eddie (Steve Buscemi) und dessen LoserClique (Nick Turturro u. a.) auf ihrer Suche begleitet, bekommt er viele irre Typen vor die Linse: vom Möchtegern-Travolta "Disco Bean" (John Turturro) bis zum wunderlichen Colonel Ron (Samuel L. Jackson)… Die gut gelaunten Stars sorgen für drollige Momente, so richtig witzig ist der steif inszenierte Ulk aber nicht.
