Das Unheimliche (1977)
Der Autor Wilbur Gray sucht den Verleger Frank Richards auf, um von diesem sein neues Buch veröffentlichen zu lassen. Das Buch enthält Kurzgeschichten, die beweisen sollen, dass Katzen übernatürliche Wesen darstellen und die Menschen kontrollieren. Richards sagt, dass er das Buch nur dann veröffentlicht, wenn Gray ihm beweisen kann, dass das wahr sei. Daraufhin erzählt ihm Gray drei schauerliche Kurzgeschichten: 1. Katzen beschützen das Testament einer ermordeten alten Dame vor ihrer Mörderin und rächen deren Tod. 2. Die junge Waise Lucy wird von ihrer Adoptivfamilie gemobbt und rächt sich mit Hilfe ihres Hexenkaters Wellington auf teuflische Art. 3. Ein Horrorfilm-Schauspieler, der seine Frau ermordet hat, sowie dessen heimliche Freundin, werden durch die Katze der Ermordeteten auf grausame Art gerächt.
