Vertraue keinem Fremden (1960)
Die dreiköpfige Familie Carter zieht in ein Haus in einer kanadischen Kleinstadt, nachdem Vater Peter (Patrick Allen) den Posten des Schuldirektors angenommen hat. Doch eines Tages kommt die neunjährige Tochter Jean (Janina Faye) nach Hause und erzählt, der alteingesessene und angesehene Clarence Olderberry (Felix Aylmer) hätte ihr und ihrer Freundin Lucille (Frances Green) Süßigkeiten angeboten, wenn sie vor ihm nackt tanzen würden. Während das Kind sich nichts dabei denkt, sind Peter und Mutter Sally (Gwen Watford) empört und fest entschlossen, den Fall vor Gericht zu bringen. Jetzt gerät die junge Familie von allen Seiten unter Druck und Anfeindungen, nicht zuletzt von Olderberrys Sohn. Vor Gericht wird Jeans Zeugenaussage schließlich komplett zerpflückt, aber es kommt noch schlimmer...
