We Have a Ghost (2023)
Frank (Anthony Mackie) und seine Familie entdecken in dem Haus, in das sie frisch eingezogen sind, einen Geist (David Harbour). Nachdem der erste Schock verdaut ist, wird schnell klar, dass das Gespenst absolut harmlos ist. Man verpasst ihm den Namen Ernest, in Anlehnung an den verstorbenen Schauspieler Ernest Borgnine, dem es ähnelt. Frank beginnt damit, mit Ernest Grusel-Dinnershows im Wohnzimmer zu veranstalten, wobei ihm sein Sohn Kevin (Jahi Di'Allo) behilflich ist, was aus allen Beteiligten mit der Zeit waschechte Social-Media-Stars macht. Doch als die Familie versucht, mehr über Ernests Vergangenheit herauszufinden, gerät sie ins Visier der CIA.
