Voyage of Time: Life's Journey (2017)
Terrence Malicks erster Dokumentarfilm wurde von ihm selbst als "einer meiner größten Träume" beschrieben. Durch dokumentarische und animierte Sequenzen werden die Geburt und der Tod eines unentdeckten Universums illustriert. Mit kraftvollen Bildern wird die Geschichte über die Entstehung des Universums vom Urknall bis zum Erdmittelalter, über die Gegenwart und sogar darüber hinaus dargestellt. „Voyage of Time“ ist vielleicht Malicks ehrgeizigster Film und basiert auf einem Projekt, das vor Jahrzehnten konzipiert wurde.
