Bad Boys II (2003)
Die Drogenfahnder Mike Lowrey und Marcus Burnett übernehmen als Mitglieder einer Sondereinheit des Miami Police Departments den Auftrag, die größte bisher entdeckte Lieferung von Ecstasy nach Miami zu unterbinden. Ihre Untersuchungen führen sie auf die Spur einer weitreichenden Verschwörung, in die ein gefährlicher Gangsterboss verwickelt ist. Dessen Ambitionen, den Drogenhandel in der Stadt unter seine Kontrolle zu bringen, haben bereits einen blutigen Krieg in der Unterwelt entfacht. Das freundschaftliche Arbeitsverhältnis von Mike und Marcus wird dabei auf eine schwere Probe gestellt, als sich Mike für Syd, die Schwester von Marcus, zu interessieren beginnt. Und bevor beide nicht das Persönliche vom Beruflichen trennen können, laufen die beiden Gefahr, ihren Auftrag völlig zu vermasseln – und dadurch auch noch Syds Leben aufs Spiel zu setzen.
