Dotty and Soul (2023)
Der erfolgreiche Unternehmer Ethan Cox (Adam Saunders) scheint kurz davor zu stehen, seine Autofirma zu verkaufen und seine Investoren steinreich zu machen. Doch als sein problematisches Halloween-Kostüm getwittert wird, beendet der darauf folgende Social-Media-Shitstorm beinahe Ethans Karriere. In seiner Verzweiflung, einen Weg nach vorne zu finden, heckt Ethan einen Plan aus: Er heuert die 71-jährige Imbisswagenverkäuferin Dotty (Leslie Uggams) an, die als Aushängeschild seines Unternehmens fungieren soll, während Ethan weiterhin hinter den Kulissen die Geschäfte führt. Doch als Dotty beschließt, nicht länger den Strohmann zu spielen, und beginnt, ihre eigene Meinung zu äußern, ändert sich alles.
