Die geheimnisvolle Insel (2012)

Eine Insel, fernab jeglicher Zivilisation und außerhalb der Zeit. Während des Bürgerkriegs in Amerika gelingt fünf inhaftierten Verbrechern die Flucht in einem selbstgebauten Heißluftballon. Der Wind trägt sie weit hinaus über das Meer, bis sie auf einer einsamen Insel landen. Sie merken schnell, dass etwas nicht stimmt, denn kurz nach ihrer Landung treffen sie auf zwei Schwestern die so gar nicht in ihre Zeit passen: Sie kommen aus dem 21. Jahrhundert und sind hier gelandet, nachdem sie über das Bermuda-Dreieck geflogen sind. Gemeinsam machen sie sich auf, um einen Weg zu finden, diese Insel zu verlassen, denn hier wimmelt es von seltsamen Kreaturen, aktiven Vulkanen und Piraten. Dann treffen sie auf Cpt. Nemo und es sieht so aus, als wären sie gerettet...
