Money Talks - Geld stinkt nicht (1997)
Franklin Hatchett ist ein Kleinganove wie er im Buche steht. Doch als das tollpatschige Großmaul dem Fernsehreporter James Russell eine Reportage vermasselt, zieht er dessen Wut auf sich. Denn James verratet Franklin flugs an die Polizei. Als er festgenommen wird und auf dem Weg zum Zentralgefängnis gebracht wird, sitzt er neben dem belgischen Diamantenschmuggler Raymond Villard. Der Transporter wird von Freunden Villards überfallen und Franklin kann fliehen. Da bei dem Überfall einige Polizisten umgebracht wurden, wird er nun als Polizistenmörder gesucht. Zunächst sucht er bei James Unterschlupf, der eine große Story wittert. Doch da dessen Hochzeit bevorsteht kommt es zu einigen Schwierigkeiten. Noch dazu geraten sie ins Visier von Raymond Villard, nachdem Franklin von einem geplanten Diamantencoup erfahren hat.
