Die Fliege (1986)
Die geniale Erfindung des Wissenschaftlers Seth Brundle könnte das Transportwesen grundlegend verändern. Materie wird in ihre Bestandteile zerlegt, an jeden beliebigen Ort "gebeamt" und wieder zusammengesetzt. Der erste Selbstversuch hat jedoch katastrophale Nebenwirkungen. Bei der Teleportation verirrt sich eine Stubenfliege in seinen Apparat, worauf Körperatome von Mensch und Insekt sich miteinander vermischen. Unaufhaltsam beginnt Seth Brundle, sich in ein 180 Pfund schweres Insekt zu verwandeln. Doch damit beginnt erst der Albtraum.
