Die Brut des Adlers (1984)
Vietnamveteran Jim Malden lebt seit dem Tod von Frau und Kind als Einsiedler auf einer Insel, die sonst nur von seltenen Vogelarten bewohnt wird. Sein einziger Kontakt zur Aussenwelt besteht in der schönen Stella Clayton und ihrem Sohn, bis mit Mike Walker ein Eindringling das paradiesische Naturreservat bedroht. Er soll im Auftrag des zwielichtigen J.P. Whittier äusserst seltene Adlereier stehlen und ahnt nicht, dass er in Malden einem ebenbürtigen und gefährlichen Gegner gegenübersteht.
