John Rambo (2008)
John Rambo lebt seit langer Zeit zurückgezogen in Thailand. Das benachbarte Birma ist seit 60 Jahren im Würgegriff eines blutigen Bürgerkrieges. Im Kampf gegen die dort herrschende Unmenschlichkeit sucht ein Team von freiwilligen Helfern Rambo auf um sich von ihm ins Zielgebiet bringen zu lassen. Zunächst abgeneigt willigt Rambo schließlich ein. Bereits kurze Zeit später wird das besuchte Dorf brutal niedergemacht. Fast alle Einwohner werden getötet, nur das Helferteam gerät in Gefangenschaft. Da von offizieller Seite keine Hilfe zu erwarten ist, wird ein Trupp Söldner zur Befreiung der Gefangenen entsandt.
