Das Mädchen aus dem Wasser (2006)
Cleveland Heep ist Hausmeister in einem Apartment-Komplexes in der Vorstadt von Philadelphia und führt ein unauffälliges Leben ohne Turbolenzen. Doch das soll sich schlagartig ändern, als eines Nachts die mysteriöse, nixenartige Story im Pool auftaucht und den tollpatschigen Heep nach einem unglücklichen Ausrutscher vor dem Ertrinken rettet. Die junge Frau stellt den verdutzten Hausmeister vor ein Rätsel. Zusammen mit Nachbarin Mrs. Choi und ihrer Tochter Young-Soon findet er heraus, dass Story eine Narf ist und aus der "Blauen Welt" stammt. Dorthin will sie auch wieder zurückkehren, aber bösartige Kreaturen versuchen ihre Rückkehr mit allen Mitteln zu verhindern. Nur gemeinsam mit Heep und den Bewohnern der Hausanlage kann sie sich den Weg zurück in die Freiheit bahnen...
