Eine schwer bewaffnete Truppe versucht den Horror zu beenden und die gewaltige Fressmaschine unschädlich zu machen. Doch die neurotische Paläontologin Kelly, Wildhüter Jack, der exzentrische Mythologie-Professor Hector und Sheriff Hank können nicht verhindern, dass er weitere Tote gibt.
