Antonia, genannt Toni, ist alleinerziehende Mutter von fünf Kindern. Das ist bereits ein Vollzeitjob und füllt ihre Tage. Trotzdem singt sie abends auch noch in verschiedenen in Bars, denn die Familie muss schließlich ernährt werden. Toni hat Talent. Sie hat sogar schon eine Single aufgenommen, die ein Hit war. Aber das war vor 20 Jahren. Heute bereiten sich ihre beiden älteren Kinder darauf vor, an die Universität zu gehen. Also fragt sich Toni: Was wird sie tun, wenn ihr gesamter Nachwuchs das Haus verlassen hat? Ist es mit 43 Jahren noch die Zeit, ihr Leben in die eigene Hand zu nehmen?
