The Producers (2005)
Der gewitzte Buchhalter Leo Bloom rechnet seinem notorisch erfolglosen Chef, dem Impresario Max Bialystock, vor, dass finanziell gesehen ein veritabler Flop immer einem Hit vorzuziehen ist. Mit "Frühling für Hitler", dem aberwitzigen Erguss des Nazi-Narren Franz Liebkind, ist nach langer Suche endlich das passende Stück gefunden, mit Roger DeBris, Motto: Keep it gay!, der entsprechend untalentierte, dampfend schwule Regisseur. Nun kann eigentlich nichts mehr schief gehen - außer dass das Stück zum Riesenerfolg wird. Remake des Films "Frühling für Hitler" (1968)
