Marsha Hunt (geboren als Marcia Virginia Hunt) war eine US-amerikanische Schauspielerin, Model und Aktivistin mit einer fast 80-jährigen Karriere. In den 1950er Jahren, während der McCarthy-Ära, wurde sie von Hollywood-Filmmanagern auf die Schwarze Liste gesetzt. Obwohl sie zunächst zögerte, eine Filmkarriere anzustreben, unterzeichnete Hunt im Juni 1935 im Alter von 17 Jahren einen Siebenjahresvertrag mit Paramount Pictures. Paramount hatte sie entdeckt, als sie ihren Onkel in Los Angeles besuchte und der Komiker Zeppo Marx ein Foto von ihr in der Zeitung sah. Bei Paramount spielte Hunt hauptsächlich Rollen als naive junge Frau in zwölf Filmen. Das Studio kündigte Hunts Vertrag 1938, und sie verbrachte einige Jahre mit Auftritten in B-Filmen von Billigproduktionsfirmen wie Republic Pictures und Monogram Pictures. 1941 unterschrieb Hunt einen Vertrag mit MGM, wo sie die nächsten sechs Jahre blieb.
