Hans Josef Schumm (geb. Johann Josef Eugen Schumm; 2. April 1896 Stuttgart – 2. Februar 1990 Los Angeles) war ein in Deutschland geborener und später in den USA lebender Schauspieler. Er war ein äußerst produktiver und von der Kritik gefeierter Charakterdarsteller in Hollywood und wirkte in rund 95 Filmen mit, darunter eine Schurkenrolle in einer zwölfteiligen Fernsehserie. Darüber hinaus spielte er in 15 Fernsehproduktionen und mehreren Theaterstücken, darunter einem am Broadway. Bis auf etwa zehn Kinofilme entstanden Schumms gesamte Film- und Fernsehproduktionen in den Vereinigten Staaten. Im Theater und im Film wird er als Hans Josef Schumm oder einfach Hans Schumm geführt; in sieben Filmen verwendet er das Pseudonym André Pola – drei im Jahr 1948, einer im Jahr 1949, einer im Jahr 1954 und einer im Jahr 1956. Privat war er unter den Namen Joseph Schumm und Johann J.E. Schumm bekannt.
