Mariette Hartley (* 21. Juni 1940 in Weston, Connecticut als Mary Loretta Hartley) ist eine US-amerikanische Schauspielerin. Sie begann ihre Karriere in jungen Jahren beim Theater, wo Eva Le Gallienne ihre Mentorin war. Ihre Filmkarriere begann 1962 mit dem Western-Film Sacramento von Sam Peckinpah. 1964 hatte sie dann eine Nebenrolle in Alfred Hitchcocks Marnie. Im selben Jahr hatte Hartley einen Auftritt in der Serie Twilight Zone und spielte von 1966 bis 1967 mit Richard Mulligan in der nur 16 Episoden langen TV-Serie The Hero. 1969 trat sie in der vorletzten Episode von Raumschiff Enterprise, Portal in die Vergangenheit, als Zarabeth auf, in der es zu einer Liebesbeziehung mit Spock kommt. Sie spielte in der Folgezeit in einigen Science-Fiction-Filmen wie Verschollen im Weltraum (1969), Earth II (1971) und in dem Fernsehfilm Genesis II (1973). Sie spielte in zwei Columbo-Episoden: 1974 Publish or Perish (Schreib oder stirb) und 1977 Try and Catch Me (Alter schützt vor Morden nicht). Im Fernsehen spielte sie in der Serie Peyton Place die Rolle der Dr. Claire Morton. 1978 spielte sie in der Serie Logan’s Run mit. Im selben Jahr spielte Hartley in zwei Episoden von The Incredible Hulk als Dr. Carolyn Fields mit und gewann für ihre Schauspielleistung einen Emmy Award. 1983 spielte Hartley neben Bill Bixby in der Sitcom Goodnight, Beantown. Seit 2007 spielt sie in der Fernsehserie Dirt die Rolle der Dorothy Spiller.
