Mord im Paradies (1989)
Sir Harry Oakes ist ein wohlhabender Magnat, der unter den britischen Aristokraten lebt, die sich vor dem Zweiten Weltkrieg auf den Bahamas niedergelassen haben. Ihre kleine Gemeinschaft ist eine von Privilegien und Status, und als Sir Harrys geliebte Tochter einen hübschen, aber mittellosen Gigolo, Alfred De Marigny, heiratet, ist Sir Harry empört über die Verbindung. Doch bevor Sir Harry die Ehe auflösen kann, wird er brutal und bösartig ermordet und sein Schwiegersohn ist der Hauptverdächtige. Nichts ist so wie es scheint, und Sir Harrys Tod deutet bald auf Intrigen und Täuschungen im internationalen Maßstab hin.
