Damon Kyle Wayans Sr. (* 4. September 1960) ist ein US-amerikanischer Schauspieler, Komiker, Produzent und Drehbuchautor. Bekannt wurde er vor allem durch seine Rolle als Michael Kyle in der Sitcom „My Wife and Kids“ sowie durch seine komödiantischen Auftritte bei „In Living Color“. In den 1980er-Jahren war er als Komiker und Schauspieler tätig, unter anderem ein Jahr lang in der Sketch-Comedy-Show „Saturday Night Live“. Seinen Durchbruch feierte er jedoch als Autor und Darsteller der FOX-Sketch-Comedy-Show „In Living Color“ (1990–1992), seiner Zeichentrickserie „Waynehead“ (1996–1997) und seiner Fernsehserie „Damon“ (1998). Seitdem hat er in zahlreichen Filmen und Fernsehserien mitgewirkt, bei einigen davon war er auch als Koproduzent oder Co-Autor tätig, darunter „Beverly Hills Cop“, „The Last Boy Scout“, „Major Payne“ und die Sitcom „My Wife and Kids“. Von 2016 bis 2019 spielte er die Rolle des Roger Murtaugh in der Fernsehserie Lethal Weapon. Er gehört zur Entertainerfamilie Wayans.
