Alan Oppenheimer (* 23. April 1930) ist ein US-amerikanischer Schauspieler. Er wirkte in bekannten Filmen wie „In der Hitze der Nacht“ (1967), „Westworld“ (1973), „Freaky Friday“ (1976), „Private Benjamin“ (1980), „Die unendliche Geschichte“ (1984), „9 – Die Traumfrau“ (2009), „Foxcatcher“ (2014) und „Toy Story 4“ (2019) mit, entweder als Schauspieler oder als Synchronsprecher. Oppenheimer studierte an der Carnegie Mellon University und schloss sein Studium 1951 mit einem Bachelor of Fine Arts ab. Er begann seine Schauspielkarriere in den 1950er-Jahren und erlangte ab den 1960er-Jahren Bekanntheit durch seine Arbeit im Fernsehen. Er wurde als vielseitiger Charakterdarsteller bekannt und wirkte in zahlreichen Fernsehserien mit, unter anderem als Nazi in „Hogan’s Heroes“, als israelischer Geheimagent und Doppelagent in „Get Smart“ sowie als zweiter Darsteller von Dr. Rudy Wells in „Der Sechs-Millionen-Dollar-Mann“. Außerdem spielte er Mickey Malph, Ralph Malphs Vater, in „Happy Days“ und hatte wiederkehrende Rollen in „St. Elsewhere“ und „Mama’s Family“. Oppenheimer war auch in mehreren „Star Trek“-Serien zu sehen und verkörperte jeweils unterschiedliche Charaktere. Für seine Gastrolle in „Murphy Brown“ wurde er 1991 für einen Emmy nominiert. Neben seiner Arbeit in Realfilmen etablierte sich Oppenheimer ab den 1970er-Jahren als erfolgreicher Synchronsprecher. Er ist bekannt dafür, vielen prominenten Figuren in Zeichentrickserien seine Stimme geliehen zu haben, darunter Skeletor, Man-At-Arms und Mer-Man in „He-Man and the Masters of the Universe“, Ming der Gnadenlose in „The New Adventures of Flash Gordon“ sowie Rollen in „The Transformers“, „Ghostbusters“ und anderen Serien.
