Biografie:

Stanley Fields (geboren als Walter L. Agnew; 20. Mai 1883 – 23. April 1941) war ein US-amerikanischer Schauspieler. Am Broadway spielte Fields in „Fifty Miles from Boston“ (1908) und „The Red Widow“ (1911). Anschließend trat er acht Jahre lang mit Frank Fay im Varieté auf. Dank Norma Talmadge, die fand, dass seine gebrochene Nase ihm ein furchteinflößendes Aussehen verlieh, begann er seine Filmkarriere mit einem Leinwanddebüt als Revolverheld in ihrem Tonfilm „New York Nights“. 1930 unterzeichnete er einen langfristigen Vertrag mit Paramount Pictures. Er starb am 23. April 1941 an einem Herzinfarkt.
