Frederick George Peter Ingle Finch (28. September 1916 – 14. Januar 1977) war ein englisch-australischer Schauspieler. Er ist vor allem für seine Rolle als verrückter Fernsehmoderator Howard Beale in dem Film „Network“ von 1976 bekannt, für die er posthum einen Oscar als Bester Hauptdarsteller, seinen fünften BAFTA-Award als Bester Hauptdarsteller und einen Golden Globe als Bester Hauptdarsteller erhielt. Er war der erste von zwei Menschen, die posthum einen Oscar in einer Schauspielkategorie gewannen; der andere war sein australischer Kollege Heath Ledger.
