Charles Cahill Wilson (29. Juli 1894 – 7. Januar 1948) war ein US-amerikanischer Film- und Theaterschauspieler. Er wirkte in zahlreichen Filmen während des Goldenen Zeitalters Hollywoods von den späten 1920er- bis zu den späten 1940er-Jahren mit. Der 1894 in New York City geborene, weißhaarige und kräftige Schauspieler wurde oft auf Rollen als ernsthafter Polizist, Zeitungsredakteur oder Schulleiter festgelegt. Zwischen 1928 und 1948 spielte er in über 250 Filmen, meist in kleinen Nebenrollen mit wenigen Sätzen. Charles Wilson begann seine Schauspielkarriere am Theater und wirkte zwischen 1918 und 1931 in sechs Broadway-Stücken mit. 1928 führte er Regie bei der Hollywood-Komödie „Lucky Boy“ (1928), mit der er auch sein Filmdebüt gab. Laut Internet Movie Database war „Lucky Boy“ Wilsons einziger Film als Regisseur. Seine wohl bekannteste Rolle war die des herrlich verärgerten Zeitungschefs Clark Gable in Frank Capras Komödie „Es geschah in einer Nacht“, die 1935 fünf Oscars gewann. Er spielte auch kleinere Rollen in anderen Capra-Filmen wie „Mr. Deeds geht in die Stadt“ (1936) und „Ist das Leben nicht schön?“ (1946). Kurz vor seinem Tod war Wilson als Chef der Three Stooges in der Kurzkomödie „Verbrechen in ihren Händen“ (1948) zu sehen.
