Nebel über Frisco (1934)
Die Tochter eines reichen Bankiers ist in Geschäfte mit gestohlenen Aktien verstrickt, die sie mit Hilfe ihres Verlobten, der in der Bank ihres Vaters angestellt ist, zu Geld macht. Als der Betrug auffliegt, gesteht sie ihrem Verlobten, dass sie ihn nur ausgenutzt hat. Kurze Zeit später wird sie tot im Kofferraum ihres eigenen Wagens gefunden.
